Parks
The Village of Merton does not have
a recreation department; however, there are many indoor and
outdoor activities held by The Merton Athletic Association
throughout the year.

Merton Firemen's
Park has several different activities for children and adults to
enjoy.

Hartland
Recreation Department Summer Program

Fireman's
Park
Located West of Main Street. Fireman's Park has picnic tables,
playground equipment and baseball/softball fields, along with
restroom facilities. The park eventually will be expanded to
include more baseball fields, as well as, soccer fields and a
volleyball area.
Bug Line
The Bugline Trail is a
12.2 trail located on the old railroad tracks. It runs from
the Village of Merton to the Village of Menomonee Falls. You
can view a map of the trail at the Waukesha
County web site. (You need to select bike trails
and then select bugline on the map.)
There also will be a new
bike/walking trail developed in the next three years by Waukesha
County. The trail will connect to the Bugline Trail and will end
in North Lake. It will run along the north shoreline of the
Bark River.
